The future of city´s size.

the future of cities size

I see a clear long term trend. As internet allows you to do everything from everywhere, there will be room for cities on the 1 million of inhabitants size, and for the ones on the 8-20 million. The first ones could offer almost every local service, and a good quality of life, and the second will have worse quality of life, but will be chosen by people looking for new opportunities, and by those who need a complete physical connection worldwide (a hub airport).

Existing cities out of these ranges need to find the way for becoming a hub, or face Detroit´s path.
